Highland School Student Council

STUDENT COUNCIL

The Student Council is comprised of representatives from each homeroom in Grades 4-6.  These students volunteer their time after school to attend meetings and make a difference in our school and community.  Elected members of the student council help to collect food to donate to local food pantries, visit a homeless shelter, collect items to send to our troops, read the morning announcements on the loud speaker, and help plan fun activities for the school.  The members also sell pizza to raise money to purchase materials for our school.  In past years, student council members have donated two mural paintings, a new water fountain, and sponsor the 6th Grade Pi Day.  Student Council members make an impact on our school and community.
