Classroom and Virtual Expectations

What to Bring

Students in all grade levels are expected to come prepared for class. This includes bringing...pencils, erasers, math notebook, math folder, math textbook, math practice book, homework, and Chromebook

Virtual Expectations
Be on time

Find a quiet place with the least amount of distractions. You should not be in your bed.
Be dressed appropriately (no pajamas)
Behave like you would behave while in a real classroom
Stay on mute until you would like to contribute, need to speak or ask a question
Listen to who is speaking and maintain eye contact
Raise your hand (just like you are in class!)
Participate - type questions or answers into chat or speak up
Have supplies ready before the Google Meet
Avoid eating or drinking
Follow normal school rules for bathroom breaks

Turning in Work

Must be submitted by the deadline posted in Google Classroom Make sure you always complete your work to the best of your ability

Missing Work
Check you work in Google Classroom; make sure you “turn in” your work. Use your student planner to keep track of assignments. Parents will be notified on an as needed basis. All missing work can result in a lower math grade.

Non-Negotiable
1. Students must work to the best of their ability
2. Students will only use pencil during math class
3. Students will show all of their work and thinking when solving problems
4. Students will DOUBLE check their math problems before handing in work
5. Students will be kind and respectful to everyone within the class
