About Mrs. Georghiou

A little bit about Mrs. Georghiou...


       Mrs. Georghiou has been teaching at Highland School since 2012, as the K-6 general music teacher. Growing up in Morris County, Mrs. Georghiou took part in various regional, state and national choirs as a student in Morris Knolls High School.

       She pursued her passion for music at Ithaca College in beautiful upstate New York. During her time as an undergraduate, she performed in multiple national tours with the Ithaca College Choir, with a highlight performance at Lincoln Center in New York City. Mrs. Georghiou graduated Ithaca College with a double degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance in 2010.

       Mrs. Georghiou continued her studies at University of St. Mary, Class of 2017, earning her masters' degree in Art of Teaching, with a concentration in Digital Learning Technologies. 

      In her spare time, Mrs. Georghiou enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and her two dogs. She is an active performer in the NJ/NY area, playing guitar and singing with her husband.
