6th Grade Grading System

  • 6th Grade students get a grade at the end of the quarter that is based on test scores, in-class or homework assignments, and participation/effort.
  • Students start every health class with a 100 participation/effort grade.
  • 2 points are deducted from that number each time the student breaks class rules. Rules include talking when they aren't supposed to or acting inappropriately.
  • Grades on Power School will reflect all of the above.
  • I encourage students who have questions about their grade, to come and talk to me. I am always open to talking with the students about why they have the grade they do and how it can be improved.
