Workers digging a well made an amazing discovery in 1974. They discovered the tomb of
Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di who died in 210 BC.
What made it so amazing?
He was buried with life size
terra cotta figures to protect
him in the after life.
There are thought to be as
many as 6000 figures.
