I am extremely excited
about the opening of school on September 4th. The custodians and summer
help have been working extremely hard painting, and even renovating,
many classrooms, hallways, and stairwells I think the students and
faculty will be pleasantly surprised at Highland Schools "face lift."
The
teachers will be coming into school 9/2 and 9/3 for professional
development and workshops in preparation for the upcoming year. They
will be ready to go on the first day of school.
I
would like to remind all parents that on the first day of school your
son/daughter will bring home a green Midland Park folder with many forms
that need to be returned. Please read through these forms, fill out the
necessary ones, and return them to the HR teacher with your child.
Many of these forms provide opportunities for your child here at
Highland School, and others, like the emergency card, must be returned
with all information filled out. I thank-you in advance for your
cooperation. The 1st week of school can be hectic, but when the Highland
staff, administration, students and parents work together, it ensures a
successful opening. If at any time you have any questions or concerns
