About Go Math Benchmarks using Google Forms:
This portion of the website was created to allow teachers to formatively assess their students using Google Forms. The free program allows all students to take a district created online benchmark assessment that will be graded immediately. The results will be broken down by student, by question, and by skill. The teachers will use this information to gear lessons toward learning gaps that are realized within the class population. By focusing on the gaps and not just "teaching the curriculum" more focused instruction can take place which will allow teachers to use their time more effectively. The result- more efficient and individualized instruction that creates time for enrichment activities which can be supplemented into the classroom for a greater learning experience.
There will be 3 benchmarks per year. The results will be compared to ensure student growth has taken place.
